The quiet side of the Argolic Gulf. Half-moon bays with transparent water, organised beaches with tavernas right on the sand, and hidden coves within a short walk - all less than forty minutes from Palladion.

The Argolic Gulf is a long, narrow bay on the eastern Peloponnese, sheltered from the strong summer meltemi winds and gentle in its swell. Sandy beaches alternate with pebble coves, pine-covered slopes and small peninsulas that break the sea into private bays.
The water in the gulf is transparent and usually calmer than the open sea. Most beaches have sandy or lightly pebbled bottoms that descend gradually - ideal for children and for snorkelling. In the more remote coves the seabed becomes rocky, dressed in Posidonia meadows and small fish.
Beside the sand, tavernas serve the day's fish, grilled octopus and small mezes of the coast. Most places keep a strong Greek character - family-run kitchens, canvas parasols, and beach bars that come alive at sunset.
The gulf is made for sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, water-skiing and short trips to small islands. The more adventurous find hidden beaches at the end of short paths - perfect for a quiet afternoon far from anyone.
