The idea

Argos as a starting point

View of Argos with the Ancient Theatre and Larissa Castle
01

Beyond the monuments

Argos is not only the Ancient Theatre, Larissa Castle and the museums. It is also the lively square, family-run tavernas, wineries on the edge of town and olive mills a few kilometres away. Behind every dish and every taste lies a whole story.

02

Private, never mass

We do not run group tourist tours. Our experiences are private, built for two to eight people, with the people who actually live and work here - winemakers, olive growers, chefs, archaeologists, local guides. No cameras, no coaches, no fixed schedule.

03

Palladion's role

We work with a hand-picked network of partners, not with agencies. At reception we help you choose the right experience for your day, arrange the transport, the language, the pace. You simply show up.

04

Always at a human scale

Our experiences keep the scale of a human-sized city. We do not overload your plan - we prefer one good experience a day and a slow return to the hotel, so Argos stays what it is: genuine and hospitable.

In which languages are they held?
Greek, English, French and German as standard. Other languages (Italian, Spanish, Russian) need 3 – 5 days' notice.
